We introduce 'H-type,' released every year, brewed to the same specs as X-type, and sold exclusively through Hasegawa Saketen. Where X-type is a bottle for enjoying the creaminess of kimoto brewing, H-type lets you savour the astringency of kioke shikomi. A faint fruit aroma like Japanese pear (nashi) and lychee; one sip and a mellow sweetness rushes through, with the kioke's astringency emerging elegantly.
