Sogga Père et Fils Numero Six "Sake Erotique," brewed with yeast No. 6 by Obuse Winery in Nagano. This particular bottle is a special Domaine Ikeda edition, made with Miyamanishiki grown by contract farmer Mr. Ikeda. A pale sweetness, an acidity with a firm core, and a supple richness. A distinctive dryness on the finish, reminiscent of salt, widens the range of dishes it pairs with — it's especially superb alongside Italian food.
