We introduce 'Aramasa No.6 U-type,' a collaboration between Aramasa Shuzo and Uchu Kyodai (Space Brothers). It's a kijoshu (sake brewed with sake) that's also a sparkling sake from secondary fermentation in the bottle, and also a clear type with the lees removed (ori-nuki) — an eccentric sake absolutely stacked with attributes, muscle-bound with them. A dense, honeyed sweetness contrasts strikingly with a delicate fizz. A bitterness from kioke shikomi (brewed in wooden vats) finishes the aftertaste crisp and clean.
