Introducing Aramasa Shuzo's adorable little cat — Amaneko, from the Private Lab series, brewed with white koji. An aroma of Japanese pear and lychee, with a sweet-and-sour flavour spreading across your whole mouth. Compared to Ecru, which also uses Akita Sake Komachi rice, this one has stronger sweetness and acidity, with the kimoto (traditional starter method) and kioke character held back. Combined with a short finish, it's extremely easy to drink — let your guard down and your glass will be empty. A sake that tests your self-control.
