Among the closest shapes (at most one axis off by one step), ordered by score. Re-reviews of the same sake are excluded and each brewery appears once. Where fewer than four qualify, the next closest shapes fill the gap.
One bottle from "PRIVATE LAB," the lineup that gathers Aramasa's signature techniques. "Nirugame" uses sake rice polished barely more than table rice. Yet surprisingly, it has none of the off-flavours or rice-bran smell that low-polish sake usually carries. The body is restrained, but the aroma and acidity feel fresh and lively, with astringency and a stimulating, aged-sake-like fragrance as an accent.
