"Choshin Hanakaze" is the pinnacle of the Hanakaze series. The top notes carry a light lychee sweetness and a fresh, green aroma like celery or asparagus. The notes you catch in the mouth, meanwhile, layer delicately with jasmine tea's bitterness, rooibos tea's toastiness and pu-erh tea's sweetness. Part of the blend is aged in wine casks and oak casks, giving rise to a harmonious diversity within the aroma. You can enjoy a flavour that's completely unknown, beyond sake as we know it.
