Among the closest shapes (at most one axis off by one step), ordered by score. Re-reviews of the same sake are excluded and each brewery appears once. Where fewer than four qualify, the next closest shapes fill the gap.
Dassai, the sake representing the whole world of Japanese sake. A ripe melon-like fruit aroma paired with a mellow, savoury rice-derived fragrance is distinctive. On the first sip, a firm sweetness arrives straight away. Then a mellow richness spreads gently, and the big wave of deliciousness reaches its peak. Dassai's characteristic transparency and smooth mouthfeel pair perfectly with the richness and viscosity typical of nama genshu (unpasteurised, undiluted).
