We introduce the 2022 vintage of Ecru, the entry-level label in Aramasa Shuzo's Colors lineup. The aroma is like Japanese pear (nashi) and muscat grape. You can sense the mellow, fresh-cream-like quality that comes from kimoto, and a restrained cedar nuance from the kioke (wooden vat). Its clean, light character is a flavour you could call Aramasa's signature style. The sweetness is toned down slightly, making this a drier finish for Aramasa.
