Among the closest shapes (at most one axis off by one step), ordered by score. Re-reviews of the same sake are excluded and each brewery appears once. Where fewer than four qualify, the next closest shapes fill the gap.
Ubusuna, the new label stepping in for Hananoka, a brand that had already built a solid reputation. This is a sake devoted to the land of Nagomi, Kumamoto, where the brewery sits. An elegant ginjo aroma and a pleasant lychee note on the palate lead into a smooth mouthfeel with little off-flavor. A faint nigori-like plumpness gives the flavor real dimension. A label with a bright future ahead.
