Among the closest shapes (at most one axis off by one step), ordered by score. Re-reviews of the same sake are excluded and each brewery appears once. Where fewer than four qualify, the next closest shapes fill the gap.
Here's Soko, one half of the twin pillars of the hardest-to-find Juyondai bottles. It's brewed with Yamadanishiki from a Special A district, drawn off by shizukudori (drip-pressing), then matured at near-freezing temperature — a true gem. Soko is a Daiginjo-grade sake with added alcohol. The balance of sweetness and umami is exquisite. True to a sake with alcohol added, the flavor stretches out long, and you can enjoy a diverse, complex range of notes — raisin, unrefined brown sugar, caramel, honey.
