Among the closest shapes (at most one axis off by one step), ordered by score. Re-reviews of the same sake are excluded and each brewery appears once. Where fewer than four qualify, the next closest shapes fill the gap.
"Jikon" — the sake that represents Mie Prefecture and is loved by sake fans all across Japan. This bottle is "All for Jikon," made with sake rice grown right in Nabari, the home ground of Kiyasho Shuzo, the brewer of Jikon, and with spring water from the Nabari River. A rich, juicy sweetness and a clean acidity give it an elegant, refined flavour overflowing with grace. The umami that follows the sweetness wraps up the finish beautifully, and this dream of a moment passes by in the blink of an eye.
