Here we introduce the new-season release of "Asahitaka," distributed only within Yamagata Prefecture by Takagi Shuzo, the Yamagata brewery behind the legendary "Juyondai." The aroma is a beautiful ginjo fragrance and a showy fruitiness. From a gentle first sip, umami, sweetness and acidity spread to fill the mouth like a great flower blooming open, and each flavour's outline grows sharper and sharper. It's nothing less than the Big Bang at the dawn of the universe.
