Among the closest shapes (at most one axis off by one step), ordered by score. Re-reviews of the same sake are excluded and each brewery appears once. Where fewer than four qualify, the next closest shapes fill the gap.
From Colors, the flagship lineup of Aramasa Shuzo, the brewery representing Akita Prefecture, we introduce 'Ash,' a sake for enjoying the character of Kame no O, a rice native to Yamagata. Among the Colors range, Ash stands out for its hard, clear flavour and a distinctive bitterness from Kame no O that lingers gently in the finish. Compared with the 2022 edition, sweetness and acidity are more pronounced, and it has regained some of its floral character.
