Among the closest shapes (at most one axis off by one step), ordered by score. Re-reviews of the same sake are excluded and each brewery appears once. Where fewer than four qualify, the next closest shapes fill the gap.
Introducing H-Type, exclusive to Hasegawa Saketen, marking the first release in four years since 2020, from Aramasa Shuzo's No.6 series. Its milling ratio of 40% is a higher spec than the X-type. A concentrated sweetness reminiscent of La France pear and chitose-ame (a traditional long candy), along with creamy umami, erupts together with a burst of carbonation. Astringency from the wooden vat neatly ties together the finish, resulting in a flavour that is dense yet clean.
