Among the closest shapes (at most one axis off by one step), ordered by score. Re-reviews of the same sake are excluded and each brewery appears once. Where fewer than four qualify, the next closest shapes fill the gap.
From Juyondai, the ultra-rare sake of Yamagata, we introduce 'Chotokusen' — known for short as 'Chotoku' — brewed at a rice-polishing ratio that goes beyond even Gokujo Morohaku. This Chotoku? Off-the-charts good. One sip and it begins: a carpet-bombing of ultra-dreadnought-class juicy sweetness, backed by a heavyweight, rich umami. A taste from another dimension overwhelms you in a single sip, wiping out every sake you thought you remembered, leaving nothing behind but the flag of Juyondai's conquest, fluttering alone.
