Among the closest shapes (at most one axis off by one step), ordered by score. Re-reviews of the same sake are excluded and each brewery appears once. Where fewer than four qualify, the next closest shapes fill the gap.
From Kokuryu, a venerable, long-established brewery representing Fukui Prefecture, here's "Shizuku" from their ultimate sake series. It's made using fukurozuri (hung-bag drip pressing) — no artificial pressure is applied; instead, the moromi is placed in bags and the sake that drips out on its own is collected. The aroma is demure, with a body and a refreshing nuance of mint and lime. A faint, fresh sweetness and a smooth, mineral-tinged mouthfeel make for a pleasant drink.
