菩提酛とは室町時代に奈良県菩薩山正暦寺で発祥した、現代日本酒製法の基礎を気づいた造り方。長らく廃れていたが、奈良県の酒蔵が協力して復活させた。奈良県を代表する酒蔵、みむろ杉が菩提酛で醸した本作は、芳醇な香りと確かな旨みを感じられる。
