Among the closest shapes (at most one axis off by one step), ordered by score. Re-reviews of the same sake are excluded and each brewery appears once. Where fewer than four qualify, the next closest shapes fill the gap.
From "Shinshu Kirei," a brand that has been raising its profile over the past few years as a representative sake of Nagano Prefecture, here's a bottle modelled after a golden turtle. It uses Kinmonnishiki, a rice native to Nagano born in 1964. It once disappeared amid the rise of Miyamanishiki, but has recently made a comeback as a legendary sake rice. A refreshing fruit aroma like green apple or muscat grape, paired with a pleasantly viscous sweetness and body — once you start drinking, you can't stop.
