Among the closest shapes (at most one axis off by one step), ordered by score. Re-reviews of the same sake are excluded and each brewery appears once. Where fewer than four qualify, the next closest shapes fill the gap.
Introducing the 2022 vintage of Amagaeru, Akita's own reckless shogun from Aramasa Shuzo. Usually brewed with Akita Sake Komachi, this lot instead is 100% Kairyo Shinko. Perhaps because the first lot caused a spate of bottle-bursting incidents, this second lot surprisingly opens quite calmly. Despite its creamy flavour, it carries the fresh, juicy sweetness characteristic of Kairyo Shinko.
