Among the closest shapes (at most one axis off by one step), ordered by score. Re-reviews of the same sake are excluded and each brewery appears once. Where fewer than four qualify, the next closest shapes fill the gap.
From Aramasa comes Amaneko, part of the PRIVATE LAB series — a lineup defined by distinctive brewing methods. It's brewed using shiro-koji (white koji), the mould used for shochu, and beneath its light, easy-drinking flavour a firm acidity comes rushing in. I suspect I'm far from the only sake lover who fell for Aramasa through this very bottle. Amaneko truly is Aramasa's own maneki-neko (beckoning cat).
