Among the closest shapes (at most one axis off by one step), ordered by score. Re-reviews of the same sake are excluded and each brewery appears once. Where fewer than four qualify, the next closest shapes fill the gap.
Born from the concept of high-quality sake at an accessible price, this is Juyondai's signature sake. The listed price is reasonable, but the bottle itself is hard to come by. A sake with clean, pure fruit character, marked by nuances of apple and melon along with the freshness of sour cream and mint. The standard Honmaru, bursting with rich sweetness and umami, is wonderful in its own right, but this release — standing out for its brilliance and refreshing coolness — is something special.
