Among the closest shapes (at most one axis off by one step), ordered by score. Re-reviews of the same sake are excluded and each brewery appears once. Where fewer than four qualify, the next closest shapes fill the gap.
Jikon Daiginjo, matching the specs of the entry that won gold at the 2023 New Sake Appraisal Fair. A premium sake made by milling Yamadanishiki from Iga, Mie, down to 40%. The aroma is gorgeous, with a well-ripened fruitiness spilling out of the glass, and one sip lets dense umami and sweetness spread slowly through. A clear, transparent sake quality and a smooth mouthfeel build a refined flavor that's more than just delicious.
