Argo, an innovative sake, has just been released by Gekkeikan, the largest maker in the sake industry. Its alcohol content is a mere 5%. Given that other low-alcohol sakes tend to sit around 13%, you can tell just how remarkable this is. It has an extremely light, crisp drinking style, yet you can still clearly feel a faint fruit aroma along with the sweetness and acidity characteristic of sake.
